Sports play a crucial role in the holistic development of students, offering numerous benefits beyond physical fitness. Here are some of the key reasons why sports are important for students:
Engaging in sports helps students maintain a healthy lifestyle by promoting physical activity, building strength, endurance, and flexibility, and reducing the risk of obesity and related health issues. Regular participation in sports contributes to overall physical well-being and instills lifelong habits of exercise and fitness.
Sports have positive effects on mental health, including reducing stress, anxiety, and depression. Physical activity releases endorphins, neurotransmitters that promote feelings of happiness and relaxation, helping students manage academic pressures and improve mood and emotional well-being.
In our campus, we provide the facilities to students who are more active in sports. We give special attention on indoor and outdoor games. We have established dominance in Basketball and volleyball, chess and cricket tournaments.
